A space for learning, storytelling, and thoughtful media
Internships at The Hemline
Why Intern With Us?
The Hemline is a creative platform at the intersection of fashion, care, and cultural memory. We believe clothes hold stories—and that slow, intentional storytelling is a form of resistance. Our internships aren’t about busywork. They’re about nurturing voice, vision, and real-world media experience in an affirming and thoughtful environment.
We welcome emerging writers, researchers, curators, and creatives who are seeking to grow with care and purpose.
✧ Intern Roles May Include
Depending on your interests and background, you might:
Help research or draft articles for The Hemline’s journal
Assist with podcast planning, guest research, and transcription
Curate vintage pieces or style stories for the “Worn With Care” section
Organize interviews or correspondences with creatives, students, and designers
Support digital zine layouts, moodboard creation, or archival photo curation
Help shape Instagram stories, quotes, and quiet campaigns
Research fashion history, cultural archives, or garment care practices
Support community engagement efforts (calls for submissions, giveaways, etc.)
Note: All internships are virtual and flexible, designed with care responsibilities and neurodivergent/disabled creatives in mind.
✧ Who We’re Looking For

Interning With Care Is Resistance
We don’t believe in hustle culture. We believe in aligned labor, in shared vision, in nurturing slow voices. Interning at The Hemline is not about checking boxes—it’s about deepening your creative language in a world that often demands silence.
Let’s create something meaningful—together.
