The Hemline Emergency Care Fund

We know that crisis doesn’t always look like an ambulance. Sometimes it looks like:

  • A mother needing rest after caregiving burnout

  • A girl needing money for period supplies

  • A writer silenced by grief who needs a notebook and silence

  • A teen unable to afford interview clothes for her first job

  • A soft place to land after being dismissed, displaced, or ignored

This fund is small, direct, and rooted in trust, dignity, and ease.

A community-centered microgrant to support women, girls, and femmes in moments of quiet crisis.

What We Offer

  • Microgrants of $50–$200

  • Fast, barrier-free process, no heavy paperwork

  • Support for:

    • Transportation, food, period supplies

    • Journals, books, or creative tools to aid emotional survival

    • Clothing for interviews, school, or shelter transitions

    • Temporary relief needs not covered elsewhere
