Latina Bohemian

Latina Bohemian is a poet whose work traces resilience, healing, and the quiet strength of self-reflection. Her poems move between vulnerability and resolve, offering language for silence, uncertainty, and the courage to begin again. Through spare yet vivid lines, she transforms moments of restlessness, inner conflict, and forgiveness into portals of clarity. These works, now featured on The Hemline, hold space for stillness and renewal — a reminder that poetry can be both mirror and balm. Through poetry, she creates spaces where readers can pause, breathe, and return to themselves.

Navigating Through Stillness

Being still seems unreal.

When sounds of restlessness echo,

Are trapped within four walls.

Anxiety kills in quiet volume.

Silence irritated; it was overwhelmed. People feel vulnerable.

Fear has been invasive.

The Detour

Their car got stuck on a road.

In a small town near the nightclub.

Due to overthinking

Conflicts within the inner self.

They are running out of gas.

The brain is an engine that’s complex.

Living rapidly led to this crash.

Sometimes you have to detour.

Take another direction,

Not let life pass you by.

I Forgive Myself

For all the times I doubted my potential

Let insecurity affect self-esteem.

Mistakes are normal, everyday lessons.

The present wants me unbothered.

Not regretful.

I am not chained to who I used to be.

The past doesn’t own me.
